Our Story

We believe that saying goodbye to your old stuff can be easy, ethical and rewarding to your community.

Where It All Began

Adios started in Austin with a simple idea: decluttering should be easy and do good. We built the Goodbye Bag, a sturdy 50-lb tote, and a text-first pickup so neighbors reclaim space while keeping useful items in circulation—right here in our community.

Our Mission

We make it crazy easy to say goodbye to what you don’t use—then give it a second life. You buy, fill, and text; we sort and prioritize reuse. Local nonprofits get what they need; affordable warehouse resale keeps essentials accessible; landfill is the last resort.

Looking Forward

We’re building a zero-waste future from the neighborhood up. Today, we focus on Austin pickups, ethical sorting, and measurable impact. Tomorrow: repair, repurpose, and reuse at scale—small, deliberate actions compounding into big, generational changes, one bag at a time.
